Joint Systems
Kährs offers three different joint systems depending on board construction:
Woodloc® 5S
Woodloc® 5S is the latest innovative glue-free joint system, with a special locking tongue to create even stronger joints.
• The strongest joint on the market
• Faster and easier to install than Woodloc®
• Resistant to changes in temperature and humidity
• No gaps
• Covers 75 % larger installation areas without an expansion joint
• Floor can be used directly after installation
• Easy to remove the floor (when installed floating)
• Suitable for use with Kährs 13 mm, 15 mm and 30 mm floors

Woodloc®
A mechanical joint with no need for glue.
• The world’s first mechanical joint – launched in 2000
• Faster and easier to install than traditional joints with glue
• Resistant to changes in temperature and humidity
• No gaps
• Floor can be used directly after installation
• Easy to remove the floor (when installed floating)
• Suitable for use with Kährs 7 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm and 30 mm
floors

This is a traditional tongue and groove construction.
• Needs glue. Allow to dry before use following installation
• Suitable for Kährs 20 mm floors
