Swedish real estate company, Wallenstam, chose a 1920’s curved building in the centre of Stockholm as its new office location. After removing existing interior fittings, the challenge was to recreate the building’s original atmosphere, whilst accommodating modern office requirements. Oak Baden was installed in a fan pattern to complement the rooms’ concave shape. The floor’s multi-layer construction was ideally suited to the layout, as the architects anticipated movement, which would have created unwanted gaps between the boards of a solid wood floor.
