Our range includes many of the world's most beautiful species from the most exciting parts of the globe.

Kährs is determined to promote environmental awareness even in global terms. That is why tropical species in our range come from countries who are members of the International Tropical Timber Organisation (ITTO). All members of the organisation have pledged to work towards ecological forestry.

When purchasing tropical timber we also endeavour to purchase raw materials from responsibly managed forests. Suppliers will be chosen principally from those who hold an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certificate or are able to demonstrate that they operate environmentally aware timber procurement.
