Environmental management

It is not only our floors that should be good for the environment. Even the work at our production units should have the minimum impact on the outdoor environment.

All floor-producing units within the Kährs group have environmental and quality management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9000 and are EMAS registered.

Kährs EMAS Environmental report 2007

EMAS is the voluntary environmental regulation within the EU. Its purpose is to promote environmental control, environmental improvements, and environmental audits within industry. This will provide information to the general public about the participating companies' environmental credentials.
