Becker Acroma chooses Kährs twice

Becker Acroma has chosen Kährs wood flooring for installation, throughout visitor areas, at its new office premises in Haverhill, Suffolk. Installed by Bognor Regis-based Just Wood Flooring, the project follows an earlier Kährs specification at the firm’s new Technical and Conference Centre in Märsta, Sweden.

Both Kährs and Becker Acroma share a long Swedish heritage and a commitment to the environment. Founded in 1874, Becker Acroma is Europe's leading manufacturer of industrial wood coatings. It is a pioneer in the development of high quality, water-based finishes and continues to expand its environmentally-friendly water-based and UV ranges. Since the 1970’s, it has worked closely with Kährs, supplying a range of lacquers for the company, which was the first to introduce solvent-free wood flooring production.

John Woolmore, Managing Director commented, “Having moved into new premises, we were keen to showcase our wood finishes by using our customers' products in the main visitor areas. The finished floors look fantastic and are certainly impressing our visitors; Kährs Maple Alberta has lovely colour tones and a durable satin lacquer finish, which really brings the floor to life.”



Kährs Canadian Maple Alberta is a one-strip wood floor from the American Naturals Collection. It features an eco-friendly multilayered construction, glueless Woodloc® joint and a distinct bevelled edge.
