Kährs supports industry at Floorstyle 08

Last month, Kährs joined other leading global manufacturers at the UK flooring industry’s new trade exhibition, Floorstyle 08. Hosted at ExCeL London, the show attracted decision makers from throughout the industry, as well as trade and consumer press journalists keen to view products and innovations. Floors on show included Kährs new ‘Brushed & Bevelled’ Nouveau Collection, alongside its popular 15mm and Linnea ranges, and its new DIN/EN Standard compliant Activity floors, in FSC-mix.

In addition to introducing new products and promoting its new environmental brochure, Kährs also joined other key speakers – including Wayne Hemingway, Conran Design and the FSC, in the seminar line-up. Kährs presentation centred around 'The development of the engineered wood floor and the eco-benefits of Kährs construction.’

Other show highlights included Kährs co-sponsorship of ‘Test the Experts’. The practical feature, which demonstrated how industry renowned floorlayers tackle a variety of tricky installation areas, was the perfect showcase for Kährs multi-layered board, demonstrating the quality of construction and ease of installation facilitated by Kährs glueless Woodloc® joint. In addition, Channel 5 also filmed on Kährs stand, during the show’s second day, capturing a couple selecting a wood floor which will be installed, as part of a prime-time home make-over programme, and televised later this year.
