Environmental management

It is not only our floors that should be good for the living environment. Even the work at our production units should have the minimum impact on the outdoor environment.

All floor-producing units within the Kährs group have environmental and quality management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and are EMAS registered.

Kährs EMAS Environmental report 2009

EMAS is the European Union's voluntary environmental management program. Its purpose is to promote environmental management, environmental improvements, and environmental audits in industry and to provide information to the public about participating companies' environmental status.

Kährs have always focused on environmental work and is EMAS-registered since 1997.
