Doussie is a beautiful orange/brown wood which ages to a medium brown color. It is one of the most popular imported flooring species used in Europe. It grows in West & Central Africa. Doussie shows a medium range of color variation between golden tan and darker orange/brown.

Doussie undergoes substantial color change with pronounced darkening from a light orange/brown to a deeper mahogany over time. As with Brazilian Cherry, Doussie may inherently exhibit resin pockets or "white spots".
