KIVIMIES SCHOOL AND DAY CARE CENTRE

Upofloor Enomer® Zero Tile and Quartz Mosaic floorings were chosen for repairs and modifications of Kivimies school and day care centre in Espoo, Finland. The most important qualities required for school and day care centre flooring are wear resistance and low emission (M1 emission classification of building materials), which Upofloor flooring provided.

The Upofloor Enomer® Zero Tile Collection offers qualitative and fresh colours. One of the best product qualities is the seamless installation, which allowed for the implementation of elegant floor graphics. Thanks to the use of waterjet cutting and a skilled installation, the end result was especially impressive.

The objective of the floor designs was for them to be interesting, fun and comforting. The inspiration for the animal- and plant-themed graphics stems from the local coastal environment. The graphic designs in the hallways are also similarly repeated on the walls surfaces of the building and gymnasium.
