The University of Pavia is one of the oldest educational establishments in Europe. A large hall, later known as the Theresian hall, was allocated for the University’s library. Many original features, including its robust wooden shelves, still survive today. During a recent refurbishment, the library was refitted with a natural dark-toned Walnut Montreal floor, which complemented the historic grandeur of the building.
